Question to ARS sigwhores!!!
 

Did you guys wait for the approval of the URL in which you guys would put the linking code or just inserted their code in your sig without even waiting for the approval??

I think it's impossible that they have approved all of you in such a short time... Am I wrong?

I got all my urls approved before I add any links to the program
Also I don´t think it counting impressions before the urls are approved.

They said webmaster board sigs are automatically approved...

Anyway, you guys should check the webmaster lounge over ARS, I just saw this there:

The original intent for the WM Ref Program was not to be used as a message board sig program. However, everyone has used it for that purpose on GFY. In an attempt to correct the problem, we will be cutting the payout per CPM in half. 70% of the remaining 50% will be credited to webmasters. The remaining 30% will be credited to GFY. This change will not affect the Per Click Payout. The program and pay rates will continue unchanged for all uses other than a GFY message board sig. To receive the full payout, you must submit your URL, and will receive the full payment amount once approved. Again, this change affects ONLY GFY message board signatures, and not the standard Webmaster Referral Program.


So I guess that not only you have to wait for approval, but also you're going to be payed only 50%*70%*$5 CPM which is comes down to $1.75 CPM...

The exception to this is you MAY automatically use the code if you wish in your board signatures. Webmasters message boards have already been added to the approved list, and you will be paid for clicks and impressions

$1,75 CPM is not too bad, another there are clicks, well I think ARS banners will continue to be present on GFY sigs

That just about sums it up right there. We all know he/she isn't making a dime off the sig and is pretty pissed off that I will make $300-$600 a month off mine, just for posting.

Why you so pissed off with people putting ARS banners up? whats the difference from them to people with adult.com or playboy or Lars??? Its all a banner in a sig. Fucking grab your tampax and move on.

I hope they close most of em and dont pay for useless fucking posts.

I like ARS whether they're paying for the sig or not. My last sig was for Mozilla Firefox, because it's cool too.

TCG is invite only, different from ARS....

I doubt I'm getting paid less then you, I've been flying TCG banners for 5 months now and I can say that I'm happy with them... :glugglug

Second: I've sold my sig to TCG 5 months ago and they show me much love each month with the checks I receive...

Third: For you to make $600 a month out off your ARS sig you must have over 342k page views on your sigs, I think that would take a full time job, but hey, if you're happy with it, go for it! :winkwink:

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against ARS, they have been around long enough to show that they are not fooling around... :2 cents:

The difference is that most ppl (and plz I would like to emphasize MOST, not all) have never posted before like this... just check their profiles and you'll see lot's of them have an average of 1.2 posts a day and since ARS launched this program they are posting 40+ times a day! ALL USELESS 1 LINE OR SMILIE POSTS!! IN EVERY SINGLE THREAD!!

That's what pissed me off... But there are some cool guys...

What difference does invite-only make? I was invited to pimp TCG too, but I turned it down. My ARS sig makes me $5 per CPM right now, regardless of how many other people are flying the same sig.

I haven't changed my posting patterns at all and in less than 2.5 days, my ARS sig has made $216.83. I'm making an average of $90+ a day. Sure, it won't last forever, but that's some nice beer money for a few days of regular posting.

Did your TCG sig put $90 in your pocket today? I didn't think so.

But the real question is: if you turned them down what did you have in your sig over the last 5 months? Did it make you that kind of money? I don't think so. I've been earning $$ off of my sig for the last 5 months now...

I don't think ARS is paying $5 CPM since 02/27 (the day they posted the new rules on their site), so if you're still making $5 CPM from your sig I think you shouldn't bragg too much about as it must be a mistake and they'll probably correct it.

I don't know why you're so mad, the only ppl I'm bashing are the ones that didn't post at all before this ARS thing and now are posting 50 times a day! I never said anything bad about you, I know you didn't change the way you post.
