ST, that's how all the name grabbers work, with "inside deals." They're not all that "inside," they just pay registrars to let them use their registration capability. Same with the other grabbers. And if you want to pay them instead, I'm sure they'd all be happy to switch over, if you're offering more money. Pool is able to pay a lot because they have a good model for quickly and efficiently monetizing domain acquisitions.

You need to have placed an order on Pool for the name prior to its being grabbed if you want to bid on it. On the other hand, someone here would probably bid on your behalf for a fee, if you can convince them you're good for the $30k+.

Nice domain, but it's not worth the price. A 3 letter .com recently sold at Sedo for a bit over 600 Euro, which give and take around 600 dollars; now that's a bargain.
