laptop docking station question
 

I have a Compaq laptop.. less than a year old.. I cant plug the power supply into the laptop because its fucked up inside the laptop.. that means the battery cant be charged and I cant use the laptop. If I get a docking station for the laptop will that take care of this problem?

Probably. On my Dell, Everything connects thru one wide connector that locks into the docking station. Then power, vga, etc are connected to the dock...

Unless you have another electrical prob...
