Can I improve my google PR doing this?? (inside)
 

Let's say I want to improve my Google PR of a site of mine... If I put the link of that site in my sig will I improve my PR ratio once I have over 2k posts here??

I know most threads here have a PR1, so that would be like thousands of PR1 sites linking to my page?

Is that right or am I missing something here?

I accidently got one of my sites some pr through seti@home

I joined one of their seti teams, and the team had a team site that had high pr and listed their members and their pages. I was the first link on a pr5 site :)

Even if GFY was spidered, the PR effects of 2,000 posts to the same page would be minute.

Actually, I've seen my posts on another board get spidered too. Maybe it was a google goof.....who knows.

Yeah, you need the 2000 PR1's or even no PR at all to be from different domains for Google to reflect them.

seti@home is a project that SETI (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence) started a few years back. Basically, it uses a bunch of homecomputers to decipher radio waves that SETI is trying to intercept from outerspace. Their belief is that we may find another race of something or other and the way we will achieve this is by the basic use of radio waves.

Anyone can participate.... you just download the software and when your computer is idle it runs code and then in set intervals transmits the data back to SETI via the net.

Before I'd buy his sig, Id buy one of choker's hard link deals. Hard link on the top of all his sites should do something for your pr.

google wont look at .php files ? not even the html parts ?

Google looks at PHP files jsut like a surfer does... it jsut doesnt update its cache/listing as often and freshbot wont hit them.

Interesting Q. Why isn't GFY spiderd? I find 1900 backlinks from places such as AVN which would earn the crawl. Maybe Lensman has a robots.txt file. Don't see a meta tag with reference to indexing on GFY.

Come to think of it, can't say I have seen one reference to GFY in google unless I actually type gofuckyourself.

Small doorway pages get found, small blogs get found, all kinds do nothing pages get found. Would be interesting to find out what the real answer is.

How many outboud links does gfy have ? Having a few links mixed in with millions of outbound links wont do anything for ya

Before GFY stopped all spiders with robots.txt, that's removed now though.

So GFY IS partly spidered (http://www.google.com/search?q=site:...8&start=0&sa=N) but google have never been fond of forum subpages cause of the URLs so hardlinks in your sig wont boost your sites.

Build a 30k page website. Something like music lyrics. Structure it well, and you will have 30k+ pr1 and 2 pages... I personally have about 200,000 PR pages online. All legitimate sites.

putting keywords in sig will give u top 10 google ranking :)

Find the right source and you will have 70,000 lyrics or more.

On my new pages freshbot visits dayli, didn't get a deepscan yet though still waiting for that. They are all PHP :thumbsup

GFY server is already have a hard time keeping up. Google spider could kill GFY :(

There are easier, and better ways of affecting your PR.
