what do you use to clean up the poop? i dont want to be one of those people that leave dog poop on other peoples lawns. whats the best method without touching it?

If its on the street I would clean it up but if its on someones yard I would leave it.

I dont have the right to tresspass on their property.

Just use some plastic bags or something. In my city there's a fine if you're caught not picking up after your animals.

what a weird question... is it your first dog and what kind do you have?

I have a bullmastiff and I always pick up the shit, use a plastic bag and thats it

Luckily, I have a yard large enough for the dog to just go outside and do its thing.....

However, that means figuring out where the dog is shitting for cleanup each day.

Other people have left the shit on my front lawn that is ground level, which is really nasty to say the least.

Ive caught one person and offered them plastic bags to take it with them. Luckily they did, otherwise, I'd just taken the shit in a baggie and left it in their mailbox to deal with :)

yeah its my first dog, i wasnt sure if there was any kind of high tech stuff out now a days that worked better than a regular bag. its a pit/lab mix.

since I live in a high rise building....I just hold my little rat dog outside the window and SQUEEEEEZE.....

plastic bags (i use the ones they give you at the grocery store or target, etc.) work the best for me.

I just make her do it...she's pretty nifty like that =)

Just take a plastic bag with yourself. Just make sure that there are no holes in it first.
