SALT LAKE CITY ? A woman watching Mel Gibson's new film,The Passion of the Christ, collapsed during the final, bloody crucifixion scene and later died.

No cause of death was given for Peggy Law Scott, 57, in Wichita, Kansas.
But many Mormons in Salt Lake City were discouraged from seeing the film by church teachings that frown on R-rated movies.

"I don't think our Lord would want me to see an R-rated film about his son," said missionary Shawn Watts, 20.

she died for our sins, it's like a fresh start for many of us now. Thanks lady.

Local folks been going to see this movie, and they are glad they saw it but will never see it again, way to sad and graphic. The movie ends with the screen going black and folks know its over and still sit there in silence....

Very intense movie so they say.

Are you going to go see it? Part of me wants to see it and part of me does not.
