I like mine just fine.

Never had a problem with mine, always supported me and very layback with everything i did.

But I do hate my dad.... he left us when I was 5 (ummm ya 5...I think...) and took all the money we had... (I was told it was around $700K...) and always bought me toys for pennies to make me happy (I was 5 wtf did I know?)
He never supported us as much as we needed but to the minimum....

I love my parents, never realized how nasty the real world was until I moved out at 18. They gave a lot to my brother, sister, and I, anything we needed, we got.
