Whats the best PDA?
 

anyone recomendations? i was thinkin of the sony clie

Toshiba e805... only PDA available in the states w/ a true VGA screen, 480 x 640 resolution and able to run in landscape mode w/ a software hack..

Vee, yep, thats the Toshiba... has a 4" screen too. i like the Sony UX50 that you posted too, but it has lower resolution, a *much* smaller screen (i think 2.7") and only one expansion slot, that only accepts Sony memory sticks (so no cheap/plentiful periprerals)... you really need to try them both out though, some people prefer PalmOS and other like PocketPC.. :2 cents:

then definitely check out the Toshiba e805... its the current top of the heap for PPC devices; check out the Toshiba forums over at brighthand.com if you want to read more about them, extremely cool device to surf on via the built-in Wi-fi, VGA and landscape makes a *huge* difference..

nope, same speed CPU (400MHz) but screen is only 240 x 320, QVGA (quarter-VGA)..

this one is the H5555 ,, its a lil more expensive then the toshiba

well, just look at the specs... screen resolution means more to me, i run remote desktop on mine to control my wintel boxes while lying in bed, the lower res ipaq is fairly useless when it comes to RD.. :2 cents:

I know someone with this, it is really nice.

I would say a axim if you want a pda with the most features, although it is kind of big.

i used the Ipaq for a couple of months, its good but if you use IE on the wireless lan you will hate the scrolling.

why not just spend like $200 more and get a 12" ibook - www.apple.com ?
