Ive just had a meeting with a local model today, totally new to the scene. She claims to be over 18 yet doesnt have any ID appart from birth cirtificate to proove her age.

Can anyone tell me if they have had a similar situation and what ID they ask for in order to proceed.

Don't shoot her.. Specially if she looks young !!

The BBFC are now asking for a photo id with a model release when a film is submitted. In April/May it becomes law in the UK that you can't shoot under 18's topless or clothed and posing in a provocative manner. This law is retro-active and means that the Sun has to destroy all pics of Sam Fox taken when she was 16 and the Sport the same of LDM and any other UK model who posed topless at 16 or 17 !!!

It's best to have a photo id now or not do the shoot..

If you are in doubt than anything isn´t 100% legal don´t shoot it.
