For those going to Cancun. Peso's or Dollars?

I'm obviously taking cash with me, gonna be there for 1 week so I want to know whats the best currency to take? Peso's or US Dollars?

Mexicans love US$. Have a little of both and use your CC whenever possible (you'll get the best exchange rate).

You shouldn't have any problems using $dollars anywhere. Even the taco stands on the street corner will take your US currency.
