MyDoom.F Worm Attacks Microsoft And RIAA
The infamous MyDoom worm has morphed again into MyDoom.F, a denial of service attacker which is targeting Microsoft as its predecessors did, but is also going after the Recording Institute Association of America (RIAA).
Users get infected through the usual means, by opening attachments on insecure emails, allowing the worm to spread itself via the Windows System directory. Random email messages are generated, including "You use illegal file-sharing ... your IP was logged", "Approved", "Attention", "Your credit card" and "Expired account." Fears are that such email attacks are becoming more personal and harder to spot. |
I get TONS and TONS of worms in my email. I see those first 2 subjects every day:321GFY

agreed, the fuckers whine like little bitches because they can't rip people off the same way they have for years... |
couldnt be any better companies to attack :Graucho

Although some companies may "deserve" it, the floods of worms affect us all. I may not care if Microsoft of RIAA have to deal with millions of mails, I do care when I spend a day with half the webpages I try to go to either crawl or can't be displayed at all.
