Fuck this is annoying - red x's on multiple images of the same url on the same page
 

it seems whenever a image is displayed many times (like on gfy - the new icon, or hot, etc) no image appears..

ive heard this was a problem with IE SP1.. any solutions yet? (please dont say opera or mozilla or something - they all fucking lick balls compared to myie2)

I have 2 use Mozilla for some pages,

This may not be your problem but if you've downloaded some file sharing programs they put entries into your HOSTS file that block sites causing a lot of broken images as you surf around...

Actually, re-reading your post, that's probably not your problem but something people should know if they aren't aware of it:)
