Changes at ARS: Sign of times to come?
Marc De, in a thread posted a while back, noted the decline in rebills, rise of popup blockers, increased VISA CB vigilance and other factors that prompt a rethinking of the PPS model.
Now that ARS RI has been launched and some of you have seen their new model, care to critique this model? Or is a better approach to the recent changes facing the industry to be found in another model(s)? |
i guess time will tell, i'll probably try them out for a while and see how profitable it is, if things don't work out i'll just move my traffic

Probably a safe bet would be: 1) lower payouts 2) increase focus on microniche sites |
other sponsors will be fighting over our traffic, we'll eventually find out which one is willing to give us the best deal / most money
i'll probably start moving more traffic towards tcg, maxcash, topbucks, etc. if it doesn't work out with ARS |
here's my hunch
back in the day, ppl had pps because they know retention was there. also coz of the cross and upsales. now a days, its harder to retain and more are counting on cross and upsales to pay in pps. so either u offer less by revsharing bad paysites or u gilette with pps sponsors. |
But shaving can only take a company so far. Easy to detect with honest traffic stats.... unless those are shaved as well.
