Not exactly a "super" hero but a hero nonetheless... and funny at that. GROO THE WANDERER is my fav comic book character.

Comics were a hobby

Women are a vocation

It's normal to pursue both. They all have their appropriate time.

Who do you think would make a good Wonder Woman in a movie? I'm thinking Lucy Lawless (Xena) would be a good one.

IPK 02-25-2004 01:12 AM

what about everyone's favorite super hero "Lensman"

Wolverine
Spiderman had his moments too though.
I like a lot of the Hulk.
Sgt Rock was really good.
Batman was about the best DC could muster. Superman was just annoying.. Especially after they killed him... Should have left him dead...

I heard a nasty rumour of Sarah Michelle Gellar and I swear I will vomit if that is the case especially if she is blonde. Wonder woman is not blonde! Yeah, I wouldn't mind Lucy Lawless..she has the look and it will add to her lesbian following :)

However, I heard the other Buffy chick..Charisma whatever is up for the role too and she has the look.

It has to be Wolverine, when I was a kid I got my parents to record every single episode. :winkwink: I think they are in the attic now. I also still have a shit load of comic books and cards laying around too...

HELLBOY
http://www.zebrawashere.com/fun/bfoe1.jpg
I have the origin page from the first comic on my wall. It's estimated at $5k+. Bought it straight from Mike Mignola in '97 and every time I see him he begs me to buy it back.
The HELLBOY movie comes out April 2 directed by Guillermo del Toro, the director of Blade II, Mimic, Chronos, and The Devil's Backbone. He had a choice to direct Hellboy or Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and chose Hellboy because he loved the comic so much.

Ian 02-25-2004 07:42 AM

Spiderman,Daredevil,Silver Surfer and Wolverine.

phelix 02-25-2004 11:07 AM

I always loved Daredevil and Batman. They are both vulnerable superheroes. I mean DD is blind and Batman is just a guy with lots of money and anger :)

no i dont think so, i am missing like 3 comics from the entire collection.

they overproduced spawn and many other comic books in the 90s making most worth barely anything.
