Canadian webmasters: how much is...

How much is to buy a small 2-storey house there? I'd like to know the prices in different areas of Canada.

I would imagine that if you do your research then you would find out LOL

You haven't provided where you would like to live Province etc.,

From $50,000 all the way up into the high millions - that should just about cover it!

Doctor Dre 02-24-2004 10:44 AM

It change a lot ...

You can get a small house for 50 000 CND in rural aeras .

You can get the same house for 350 000 in ottawa .

Prices are too variable .

Depends where

here in Quebec City, houses are very affordable. I have a 2 story cottage with a garage, full white bricks, 30X26 (+garage). it is evaluated at 250K. the same house in Toronto Sub would be like 450K I believe

Try www.mls.ca but first you need to know the vague area you are looking for.

Where are you from? How much is it in your place? Please note I'm asking about some small two-storey one (no luxuries)

Depends on where you are.. Downtown Toronto for a small 2 story house you'd be looking in the 6 figure range.. Up here where I am (Northern Ontario) you can buy a house like ours for $100,000 including property.

Really all depends what conveneiences you want, that kind of thing. Your best bet is to search the internet and see what you come up with :)

Well around here 4 bedroom places (older houses) in town are going for around 60-80k. Out of town it depends on how much property there is.

Absolutely, but the location wouldn't likely be in a city. That would probably be a price for something more rural.

SENSEX 02-24-2004 11:07 AM

I like THIS ONE. It's only $44,500 and looks good. But I know nothing about British Columbia... Is it a good place?

Well I don't know many people that have the time to research it for you, however, Toronto - big area houses can go from $250,000 all the way up.
