Don't buy it, wait a bit for a new remaster to come out. It's supposed to be loaded with new stuff.

Same thing happened to me, although I could have sworn that Resident Evil 2 had a very similar trailer.

Dawn of the dead will be just like 28 days later. Starts of great, but is a let down at the end, at least thats how I see it.

I have been a fan of DOTD since I was a teen. I can't wait and I won't be disapointed as long as it holds up and is as good as the preview...

It looks so disapointing, zombies don't run, and mexicans check their heart rate no matter what.

If George A. Romero wants to have zombies run so be it. It basicly is his world when it comes to zombies, he basicly invented them as we know it.

zombie's running is better anyway.... how the hell can people not get away from a limping gimp legged zombie anyway?

This isn't a Romero film and he didn't really invent zombies as we know them. He just made them famous.

You seriously need some Zombie lessons...

Go rent "Zombie", "City of The Living Dead", The Beyond"
and illustrate yourself.. then come back and tell me that dead
people running is better...

I was willing to give the remake a shot until I saw the trailer. Zombies don't run. One so-so exception I can think of is Umberto Lenzi's Nightmare City.

Don't get me wrong, it looks scarier, but it isn't even close to being as realistic.

It's like the Friday the 13th movies where the girl runs like a race horse through the forest and Jason walks and somehow ends up in front of her.

Sure, makes for a good scare in the theatre, but it's not realistic.

And it's the whole "realistic" thing that is tearing horror movies apart these days, because realism is what people are demanding. If it's not close to reality, people chew it up and spit it out.

Romero is supposedly looking for money for "Dead Reckoning" but I'm not really up to date on what is going on with that.

I saw it about 10 years ago when it was titled "Return Of The Living Dead".

I do believe your thinking of the original Dawn of the Dead. Number 2 in the trilogy. Night of the living dead was first, then Dawn of the Dead and then Day of the Dead.

Of course skipping the various Dead comedies.
