what have been your achievements in adult over the past year - what are you proud of?

For me the last year has been a great one, I achieved many personal goals and set up several things of which I'm proud of.
I don't want this thread to be spammy so I won't post links or names, but our gay affiliate program is going great guns, I finally got a fun sex toy idea up and running after two years on the back burner and have had a fair degree of success and some good mainstream press, also got some cool straight paysites happening as well as corresponding DVD's.
Although there have been many setbacks, I feel a good amount of progress was made, and I look forward to some of my current projects coming to fruition throughout '04. I've got a really good feeling this year.

what have you achieved over the past year or what you are proud of?

cheers.

good stuff, you're in for a bit of a learning curve operating a site :)
make sure you've got a source of your own traffic!

:)

I know it's been a tough year for many but im not even really talking about "success" more what someone has managed to achieve, whether it's a designer getting his first client or a tgper getting their first sale.

bhutocracy 02-23-2004 08:11 PM

no one achieved anything? heheh not even a little spam?

hova 02-23-2004 08:21 PM

I think my problem is that I am never satisfied, once I have achieved my goals there is always more to be done. But I achieved some things, I am mastering the art of SE traffic, done some domain buying and selling (that was new to me). And in couple of months Ill open my own paysite, and after that comes world domination

Paraskass 02-23-2004 08:23 PM

oh man there is ALWAYS more to be done.. the more you achieve the work work you create for yourself. I'm also going to be doing a lot more SE stuff this year.. should be fun :)

Nysus 02-23-2004 08:50 PM

I am slowly becoming more productive and focused. That's all I have hoped for and it's going well. :)

Cheers,
Matt

Yup, but sometimes you should sit back and enjoy what you have done. And when I do that, I go crazy and spend all my money in a day or do nothing for a week or go on a freaking holiday........SE is fun!

I think this is going to be a great year ( upcoming ) for me, I will have a paysite launched, many new projects started and completed for customers, and I will have produced a new DVD series... I'm anxious to see how everything pans out.

proud to have managed my family life and business best i can,
also proud not having sold out (yet) to take time off which is
always tempting this not being my main income source !

i know bhutocracy personally, you're a good guy bro and deserve
your success :thumbsup

madsender 02-24-2004 04:48 AM

I was able to buy my GF (Now Fiancee') the house she wanted for her and her 4 year old daughter and myself.

No morgage..

2004 is shaping up to be an even better year..

I met some really key contacts and learnt a lot about the business this year.

In this biz its BOTH who AND what you know.

I'm aiming for 7 figures this year...

EvilToyBoy 02-24-2004 04:53 AM

Toy Boy's achievements in the last year....

1. Being ballsy enough to be the first to release the 3 minute Paris video.

2. Learning from errors of that decision.

3. Doing it again smarter this time around with the full length version.

"The only real fuck-up is the fuck-up not learned from"

:thumbsup

madsender 02-24-2004 06:10 AM

Anyone else have some successes?

Herb Kornfield 02-24-2004 06:25 AM

1. Got my traffic from zero to a couple thousand uniques a day (and climbing!!!!)

2. Got my list of work to do with my biz partner almost finised and now were in the final tweaking stages on all of it across a network of sites. Diversification is key here.

3. Made a load of new contacts this year and learned a lot from tons of really cool people out there.

4. Kept in there when times got rough and never lost my faith.

ozmatt 02-24-2004 06:26 AM

had a break from the industry and went travelling for 11 months, now back and the wheels are in motion with some new projects.

Was good to start the year off meeting with other members of the industry including bhutocracy and kevin, hopefully I can do some business with you both in the future.

Too early to give a little spam for my projects... but yeah should be a good year :)

matt
