I am bored, decided to become an Airline Pilot!

Ok, within 14 -18 months, I should have all needed
training to become an Airline Pilot.

Who knows if I will actually be hired since I am 31 and nearly
32 but shit, I have nothing else exciting going on..lol

I always said I would do to jobs, Police Officer and Airline
Pilot, I did the first one already, time for the second.

Porn $ will finance this little adventure.

If anything, I will get ALL the training that I need
and I will buy my own airplane.

It all started in my head recently when my best
friend from High School called me up and
told me he was an Airline Pilot, Captain at that.

Shit, the mofo called me from the Cockpit the other
morning just to rub it in my face...lol..

We use to fly around on days off in High School, his dad
was a Delta Pilot and they had their own plane and my
friend had his license.

The 2 of us would fly around during the summer..

Good Ol Days..

J.R., it is entirely possible to become an ATP at the "ripe ole age" of 32 or even higher. I'm 39 and a *very non-current* student pilot and if I can get my ass back into the game I have no doubts that I could be an ATP if I so desired - which I don't. Many ATPs are retired military pilots and that means they are around 40yo by the time they leave the service. However, the market for ATPs is *extremely* competitive and only about 1 in 100 applicants get jobs with the airlines, much less qualified to fly the jumbos.
Set your goals, save your money and apply yourself 110% to the task. Who knows?! Best of luck to you and I'll see ya in the wild blue yonder. :)

Thanks for the comments, they are nice to hear!

Yeah, alot of pilots use to be former Military, my friend
who has been an ATP for the last 7 years working
for Com Air Airlines is the same age as me, except he has
already worked his way up.

His dad, was a actual Navy Top Gun Pilot, he has some
bad ass pics of crazy shit they did back in the day.

I am not sure if I want to actually work for an airline, but
I want to get the training done for self satisfaction.

I can always work for Fed Ex or UPS if I needed a job or
even a small startup airline etc. etc.

Money is no issue, but I do need to continue and get
my 4 year degree...
