Just in... Ralph Nader is running

Holy fuck man, this sucks! It's gonna be hard enough to get Kerry in, now Nader is gonna fuck it up just like he did the last election. Gore would have been president now, if Nader didn't step in

Jedimaster 02-22-2004 07:36 AM

So it's Nader's fault that Gore is a loser?

Sure is, Nader took way approx 93,000 votes. Bush didn't get the popular vote. Last election was the closest ever in US history

Bansheelinks 02-22-2004 07:40 AM

Nader also siphoned off key votes in key states. This makes it all the harder for Kerry, especially since Bush has built up a $150 million war chest of cash.

Bush will now be able to outspend Kerry in key states with advertising...............why the fuck is Nader running anyways? He hasn't a chance!

Phoz 02-22-2004 07:41 AM

Oh the joys of the American voting system.

Mr. Mojo Risin 02-22-2004 07:41 AM

damn

goBigtime 02-22-2004 07:43 AM

I think more people will be smarter this time after last years election.

But who knows... with diebold, maybe Nader will get just enough votes to fuck things up again -- and this time no hanging chad recounts.

Anyone know the status on them contesting the use of the Diebold voting machines?

edit here it is :

Judge denies electronic voting challenge

independant candidates have always playeda role in elections on than being a spoiler....

Each of them has a message or a couple key issues they want to be pushed forward and made key issues in the campaign. If they get those issues addressed they have served there purpose.

Whether its the idea of flat tax or gay marriages....

Our voting system is all fucked, up! We need to go with just the popular vote, who ever the fuck got the most votes wins! I don't believe in any other type of voting!

How many can predict a FL voting problem again? Maybe a re-count of all votes?

So the election should be restricted to Democrat/Republican so that the Democrats have a chance? Is that what you're saying?

That's sad. If the Democrats can't win this election, they truly have my sympathy.

AMEN!

It shouldnt be a two party race anyways.... however the dem and rep's are in agreement that if they keep the power between the 2 of them they are golden.

As soon as they let a 3rd or 4th party into the race on equal footing they will lose there alot of there power.

Sly_RJ 02-22-2004 12:40 PM

I'm all for third parties. The Republicans are pissing me off... and I doubt I'll ever vote Democrat. Maybe, they'd have to really impress me.

Let's see some Independents! Get some of the smaller, "true Americans" that don't ride the jock straps of lobbyists.

Rich 02-22-2004 12:45 PM

What a fucking moron, the point he's trying to make somehow gets lost when he hands Bush two terms in a row.

Bullshit. Gore lost. He was practically an incumbent running from a very popular administration. Gore had a good economy, great poll numbers, money, etc. Gore lost because he sucks as a candidate.
