got up just over 42 C today, sucks to be an old person (5 died today) or a fluffy cat or dog :|

so is the rat dead in this pic. if so thats kinda sad. Ever hear of cruelty to animals, how bout buying a fan for your house you cheap motherfucker instead of letting your pets die in the sweltering heat...GEEZ!

nah the rat isnt dead, just snoozing.... i gave it cold bath a few times to cool it down. Fans do shit all in this heat.. the air is so hot and humid.. use a fan and it just blows hot air onto you.

got some of those freezer block things, and when they finish freezing i am going to put them under its cage, should cool it down a bit

geez. that's fucking hot. We had a few days liek that up here last summer. It prompted me to buy an air conditioner. I suggest you do the same.

Mate, I have my entire place airconditioned, and inside it was still bloody uncomfortable at 33 degrees! When it gets so hot outside that the walls are hot to the touch, aircon can only drop the humidity and room temp a little.

yeah i believe it was the hottest day ever... but i think only for the month of feb.

yeah the rat is pretty cool, doesnt do much, used to let it run around my computer desk until it started chewing through the monitor and speaker cables.

as for an air conditioner... its weird, not too many people here actually have air conditioners (that i know). Houses up here are kinda designed to handle the heat, but yeah might look into getting one for next summer.. as hopefully it will be cooling down soon.. back to 37C tomorrow :)
