anyone use eNom.com to register domains?
Any experience?
|
yeah register through a eNom based registrar, like domainmojo.com or something, your login at those registrars will still work at eNom.com

Their interface is a bit slow and confusing but other than that they're o.k. I guess. Had a few problems with a couple domains where I couldn't change the dns info. They were on a stupid registar lock and even me the owner couldn't unlock them. Maybe not their fault I don't now. This only concerned info and us domains, all coms net orgs were o.k.
Overall o.k. but not top notch |
eNom is the best.
I have all of my domains with them (approx 1000) See list of benefits here http://www.enomaccount.com/whyenom.htm You can also get a reseller account with discounted prices on that site. |
They used to be my primary registrar. I had a number of problems with them, from occasional downtime, to times when I'd register a name but they wouldn't process the request for a couple hours, and when I'd do a global operation on a large set of names it would bog down their whole site for several minutes, and often not complete the operation anyway. If you don't mind occasional slowness/downtime, and you don't have a lot of domains (maybe a thousand or less), they could be fine. Decent prices, tolerable user interface. They just didn't meet my particular needs.
