India and customer service :)
 

Needless to say I had to do the dreaded 'customer service' call.

Phone company goofed up my line and had to re-initialize it.

Worked great til my DSL wasn't on.

Called customer service....

2 HOURS LATER after talking to 3 people whom I could barely understand but were very polite and the phone lines were shoddy at best ( you wanna know how difficult it is to try to understand someone with an accent, speaking at light speed with a bad connection? ) they come to tell me something I already knew:

They forgot to turn the DSL connection on.

Is it just a California thing?

Happens in the U.K all the time..

Like fucking duh. 50% of the time I just hang up and wait for the cable to come back on -_-

ROFLMAO!!! That'd make a good Monty Python skit.

Monty Pythons did something on those lines way back, but the sketch was all about a "gas" problem and they where all arguing over which form to fill in to do the job, that one cracked me up.
