After several hours of attempting to track down, inspect and audit the terabytes of data that we host, the FBI determined that it was more efficient (from their point of view) to remove all of our servers and transport them to the FBI local laboratories for inspection. This was completed at 7:00 pm EST same day.

That would be a nightmare...

Normaly they just flash the hard drives to there machines but this was obviously to much data for them to handle.

Interesting though it said hacked and attacked someone. I take that as someone using there servers hacked into someone elses machine found there address then physicaly attacked them? Certainly this can't be over an individual "computer attack".

A little bit of info missing from that story, doubt its your run of the mill child pornography or spam investigation, or even DDoS, they had to have some heavy stuff going on there for a while if they couldnt track the specific server at fault and just hand that over to the FBI.
