So where does porn go from here?

We?ve seen the virtual osmosis of hardcore porn into society ? from softcore magazines in the early seventies, to risque pubic hair spreads in Penthouse to cinematic hardcore, video porn and then onto DVD reality. Socially we have become immune to content, nothing shocks: taboo, pissing, scat, rape, beastiality ? selling crazy converts for a growing number. No matter what you believe, the truth is that we drive this desire. We encourage society?s hunger for the unusual.

But what comes next?

The reality spin was a different take on porn ? a reversion to a more mainstream taste. Ordinary sex, in extraordinary situations. Real-life. Television reflected this notion. Big Brother. What better scripted drama could there be than UNscripted drama. It upped the ante. When the bangbros rolled out on their adventures we became envious of their exploits. The feeling of possibility crept into our sex obsessed minds. We wanted to fill our own van and cruise the country. We didn?t need rough sex, nasty sex, crazy sex ? we just wanted the thrill of sex.
