Teachers live in such a vacuum
 

I understand they have a tough job, they don't get paid for shit compared to the importance of their job...but god damn...last night I had to go to my oldest nieces choir concert and a few months back to my youngest nieces orchestra concert and both times...these bitch ass teachers come out and start lecturing the parents on how to behave.

At my youngest nieces middle school they handed out a leaflet that said things like "please only clap when the song is finished.," there was no less than 20 more "rules." like this...simple common sense shit that you would tell 5 year olds at their first concert.

Last night this teacher started to tell us about appropriate audience behaviour saying things like..."If you like a song it is appropriate to clap...It is not appropriate to whistle or yell whoo hoo!."

"If you really like a song it is appropriate to stand up and clap."

I was ready to rip this bitches head off.

Try going and discussing anything with a teacher..#1 they start to talk to you in the most condescending manner until you check their punk ass and tell them like I do..."I am not one of your students and you will treat me with the same respect you expect from me."

I think the sad fact is tho' a lot of teachers are just people who failed at other things...those who can't teach...not all of them..but a lot.

Anyway that's my rant for the night.

I think the problem with a lot of them is they deal with nothing but children all day...little people they can bully and get their own way with and I think they lose touch with reality and how to interract with adults.

You really have no clue do you? You should try being a teacher, you'd fail for sure.

My bet is you wouldn't be able to handle the parents.
It only takes one fucking crazy stupid parent to really ruin a teachers day. I bet those teachers were "lecturing" you about how to be a good audience because they knew some of the parents present were stupid fucks that would act inappropriately.

The sad thing is the general public doesn't realize teachers have the most important job in the world, educating the future.

true to a point, i go to EMU , the biggest teaching school in MI, meaning most teachers come from there. And alot of nationwide teachers come from there.

I have to tell you , it may just be a personality trait. Sure they spend all day lecturing and explaining in the most simplistic way possible, but damn bitches, get real. A lot of the bitches i go to school with are the same way. They are the ones who are talking, and they are the ones who are important. fuck off teachers. I will never marry, or ever date a current, or prospective teacher. they are dumb.

My nieces have been living with me on and off for going on 10 years and I've had to deal with so many problems because of these people.

Let me give you an example just from this week:
Youngest niece twists her ankle in gym..teacher sends her to the nurses office...nurse yells at her tells her to put ice on it and then while she's sitting there waiting the bell rings and the nurse says....
"Go to class, and I'm not writing you a note."

There is a weekly issue with these people...so if you don't deal with this don't tell me I have no clue..it is you who has no clue.
