sorry to get serious, bet they deserve a moment of silence.
So today im sitting here, posting nonsense posts on gfy when i hear sirens. kind of strange in such a small town. I only hear sirens once a month or so. Then i hear another set of sirens. even stranger. For a half hour this goes on, more and more sirens, then I hear a helicopter fly over. im a little worried the feds are coming for me, but after some consideration, i realize i havent done anything for the feds to come after me for. So now my curiousity is growing faster than sixteen year olds cock at seeing jenna jamison naked. I live about 1/4 mile from the local high school, but due to winter break i know that its not any type of columbine shit, but maybe a big fire, or bomb threat??? so i hop in my car and head off my small road onto the road the highschool is on. on my way out of the drive way, 2 police cars drive by. By this time im a little nerveous
so i drive for 25 seconds with my curiousty nearly strangling me. there are detroit police waving traffic through. Why would detroit police be there??? in my mind the only explanation is that my small town has no bomb squad, soooo, detroit cam out. So i called my girlfriend, who reminded me of what was happening today.
Two detroit police officers were shot and killed for no reason this week. And i may have forgot to mention, our local highshchool is right across the street from Michigan Memorial Cemetery. It was the funeral procession for one of the police officers who was killed. 4 miles long. a 4 mile long funeral procession stopped me in my trek to the bank.
if you didnt hear the story, 2 detroit police officers pulled over a man for speeding. Before the officers had an opputunity to act, the man jumped out of his car and opened fire on them, killing them both, then taking the officer that was in the passenger seat's gun, and emptying that clip into the bodies. 22 shell casings were found.
so anyway , i wanted to take a minute and pay respect to the people who put their lives on the line everyday to protect us, regardless of your personal opinion on police, when you are in trouble, they are the only people there to call. And these were 2 very young people from only a couple towns over. so sorry for making it all serious, but they deserve it.
