When is the best time to buy tickets?
 

3 months before the flight or like 1 month before the flight?

Im going to Israel in June....
I bought a ticket for $1300 last year with El-Al... now I check orbitz they don't have El-Al (no flight scheduals for June yet) but other companies going for as low as $1500....

I don't mind paying $1500 but I don't want to stop 3214235 times... I only want to make a stop at NY (jfk) or NJ (newark) and then straight to TLV....

Can anyone give me some tips on when/where/how to buy tickets?

The more in advance you book the cheaper the price. If you dan,t have fixed date and you are flexible, you can go .stand By. as mentioned above, but you are not sure WHEN and IF you gonna go...:2 cents:

No Im %100 SURE Im going to go and when I'm going to go.... I just want to find good prices and not over pay. But if I will have to pay $1500 - $2000 that what Ill pay....
