Wow spam arrest sucks really a lot
 

I get thousands of pieces of spam a day, not counting when I get mailbombed. So I thought I would try spamarrest.

Just lost most of my email from 2004 and the end of 2003 for the first account I tried it on. Could have been a coincidence, but it did happen during the spamarrest installation process. Good thing I only tried it out on one email address to start. Needless to say, I have now uninstalled it. Was able to do data recovery on some but not all of what I lost. Ugh.

Folks who have recently emailed me might want to resend.

Anyone know a similar program that works a wee bit less destructively?

The norton program works well . But the pirated version fucks up

I use mailwasher pro. Catches the bulk of the crap I get.

If received e-mail is important you should copy them and store them outside your mailbox.
