people get shot every day in New Orleans, and people get shot at EVERY Mardi Gras, I grew up there, people ALWAYS die during Mardi Gras because people are CONSTANTLY being shot in that city, no matter what.

i havent decided yet, i'll prolly stay here for spanish town and head down to NO sunday night maybe monday. Fat Tuesday is really the only day worth being there for me, the city is just way too crowded for my tastes, too many idiot tourists it makes me wanna spit

this will actually be my first time going so I'll let ya know. From what I've heard it's not bad but keeping in mind that it is afterall still baton rouge, I can't imagine it being worth writing home to mom about but it is what ya make of it. I'm hoping to be surpised
