no it isn't...the fucked up thing is "brer rabbit" also "bugs bunny" are derivative of the characters slave folk stories.

The only thing messed-up or racist about that particular peice is the lack of credit...but it is just like most of Disney's early stuff...they took well-known folk tales, took out a lot of the adult content from the Grimm Brother's compliations and animated them.

Early Warner Borthers cartoons were chock full of racism
I used to have a great set of videos of older cartoons that were later banned for being rasict, violent and having sexual overtones.

Sadly, I lost most of the collection in a housefire...

I would love to have that set on DVD...

Anyone else remember Popeye fighting of the evil Japanese gremlins?
