Better To Work Throughout The Night Or During The Day?

My sleeping schedule is pretty bad, so I fluctuate between both, but what is your opinion on this?

When is the best time to work, or does it not make a difference?

I find it easier to concentrate at night when everything is still.

im the same way.. during the day there's always too much going on to focus on anything.

i get most of my work done between midnight and 3:00 am.. after that i smoke myself retarded and post on gfy untill i pass out.

9pm-3am, give or take a few hours

I find it's just better to work when I've got the creative juices flowing.

whether that's morning, noon or night.

Work during the day and you will be much more productive and healthy

ozmatt 02-19-2004 04:17 AM

too hot here during the day... and too many distractions, prefer to go to the beach.. but yeah around 10 - 3am is probably the best... all is quiet.. less mates on msn and icq to annoy me

I usually work at night, it's when I am most productive. Something about looking out the window at the beach and ocean during the day makes it hard to focus on work.

arial 02-19-2004 04:35 AM

Night for me, day time too many distractions and such.

Lol, at night is when all the chat room spam bots come out!

Actually, they're on all day, but during the day at least there are real people in chat rooms also so you dont notice the spam as much.

At night sometimes the spam is so bad, you cant even get into chat rooms because they're literally filled with spam bots all spamming to each other.

shermo 02-19-2004 04:47 AM

Late night is the prime time to work. There's nothing going on, fewer distractions and I want to finish in a short amount of time so that I can get a little sleep. :thumbsup
