Years ago, a friend of mine made his own wine. Me and a my girlfriend at the time were there for the first tasting.

I noticed that a few minutes after drinking this home brewed wine, I was getting an extremely lightheaded feeling - and not a good one either. My girl passed the fuck out on it, after having one glass!

My buddy didn't brew anymore after that.

My brother in law brewed a very nice drop of ale - nice pale golden colour and about 14% alcohol :)

He also does his own wine - you can buy the starter kits in home brew shops but I wouldn't bother - he thought it was wonderful but it tasted like lolly water.

My brother in law does his with scientific precision - plus he uses rainwater and it is consistently GOOD!

He's a bit of a moron but he sure could make good beer.

I make my own wine.
It's good to always have something to drink when you need it. :thumbsup

I use a two stage glass system and its great. The wife bought it for me one birthdjay a while back. I make about 20 gallons a year. Its fun, tastes great, but 7-11 is right around the corner with a cold 6 pack so I don't brew much.

Beer is illegal in canada . Wine is legal :)

My brother brews beer. I'm not a fan of "regular" beer so he always makes me a batch of something really sweet. :)

Used to get into the old gingerbeer brew about half a dozen years ago... until we spray painted my little brother's ford fairlane gloss black - but with the texture of sandpaper! (Forgot to use thinners to remove excess crap off the metalwork!)

We decided to stop the intake after that, considering we'd painted several cars prior to that with no dramas.

Just hit the old bundy now. Usually fucked before we even get to do anything stupid! ;)

Tip - replace the sugar with corn syrup... you'll find it in woolies.

My family has a u-brew business but we decided to only make wine, coolers and champaign. Those type of drinks I just mentioned always turn out tasting as good as store bought stuff, but the beer we made always seemed to taste alot worse then store bought beer.

Maybe 1-2 people a month ask about beer, its not all that popular at our store.

I live next to a place where they let you brew beer with their equipment and make wine there too.

I've made 2 batches of beer there and both where awsome.

You get 72 - 28oz bottled for like $125 and they have over 400 recipies.

i made a bass ale knock off that was better than bass ale and a corona knock off that i pre limed in the brewing process.

I made 2 - 26 bottle wine batches but can't taste them until april.

Everyone i've talked to who goes to this place has great results.
