Okay, so I saw 'The Passion'...
 

So, I saw 'The Passion' (of Christ), Mel Gibson's nutty aramaic-speakin' film about Jeebus. I must say, this film was... odd. I managed to see some serious plot holes/historical errors. For the sake of brevity, I'll list only several major ones here:



Okay, first off:

* In the scene where Jesus is in the garden of Gethsemene, he fires 17 rounds from his Glock 17(C) 9mm. The clip only holds 10 rounds, 15 if you get a 140mm extension magazine. Yet, we don't see Jesus re-load, and, oddly enough, the ammo he DOES have hanging on his robe appears to be .50cal machine gun rounds. Odd.

* The film claims not to be anti-semetic, however, I wasn't convinced, for two reasons:

(1) In the original ending, before being crucified on the mount of olives (?!), Jesus is kidnapped, hog-tied, and tortured via cigarette burns by the Israeli Defense Force. I don't remember reading about this in the bible. In addition, there is a major plot-hole here: one of the criminals crucified on the mount, next to Jesus, is the same drug dealer that Jesus killed during a car-chase earlier in the film. Continuity hole?

(2) When Jesus enters the temple to disrupt the money lenders, the Aramaic dialogue inexplicably switches to english, and the only english words in the entire film are spoken: 'international jewish banking conspiracy'. I found it rather odd and unsettling.

There is more. I might have to go into it later.
