Do you use Monitor Filter?
Is there any risk for my eyes if I dont use it?
Thanks. |
i spend around 16 hours a day in front of a computer screen without a filter/shield and my eyes still work.

Using a monitor with a filter... just reduces glare and headaches. In other words you'll live :thumbsup

I use a filter. My eyes like it better that way. I have a rather pricey Sony 21" monitor - but it's better with the filter to take the glare away.
As opposed to so many other pc gadgets, a filter can be used for many years. |
Do they have one that filters out ugly girls?

Apparently you can't damage your eyes perminantly by looking at a screen.
What you can get however is eye strain. This is due to the fact that your blink rate slows down and they suggest you keep looking away from the screen every so oftern. I have a TV on in my office that i glance at once in a while to keep my eyes moving. ;) |
I never did but maybe I should try.

LCD's are supposed to be better on your eyes...

oddly enough, after using my comp for almost 6 months with no contacts or glasses, my vision improved. Went from -2.5 to -2.25 in both eyes
odd isn't it? |
