I have no clue man... I've never seen the parent servers flag a domain like that like that...

I would contact your host and registrar.

That means whoever is hosting your NS records removed them for sending spam to your website.

i had a prob few weeks where someone was spamming and using the return address as [email protected] you think thats probably why? I was getting a shitload of bad delivery emails

MattO 02-18-2004 08:31 PM

Fuck! Why do I see this shit happen mostly to domains registered through GoDaddy?

good luck getting it straightened out

DirtyJ_ExtendedMarketing 02-18-2004 08:32 PM

Also.. if the hosting company is the same as the dns company, then they probably shut off your whole account for spamming..

It could be... They might believe you, they might not.. depends on your relationship with your hosting company.. Tell them to block all@yourdomain except specific email addys u use.. that way they might believe its not you..

Also, I recommend hosting your dns offsite from your website.. Say zoneedit.com or dnsmadeeasy.com

that way if u have to, u can change the ip of your domain at the blink of an eye.

I like zoneedit too... but that would not help in this situation.... either the registrar entered that info... or NSI did...becasue thats the PARENT SERVER entrys.... This is gonna roll across the net and end up being a big problem for juicy very shortly. :(

I always wondered what do you do in that case? :(

Sue godaddy for the price of feeder traffic to build your trades up again after years of work was flushed down the turlet.

mardigras 02-18-2004 09:51 PM

I'm all for penalties for spammers using false return addies, and even stiffer penalties if they fake a return address of an existing domain registered to someone else. For awhile I got dozens of returned spams daily in Korean for a number of e-mail names I never used at one of my domains.
