Teen surfing web finds out he was abducted

My apologies if its been posted already :)

LOS ANGELES -- Authorities have arrested the mother of a 17-year-old boy who discovered his picture on a missing children's Web site.

The boy told a teacher after discovering he had allegedly been abducted from Canada when he was 3.

Giselle-Marie Goudreault was taken into custody last week and is being held without bail until Canadian authorities can extradite her on child abduction charges.

The boy's father had custody of him at the time of the alleged abduction. Authorities said the woman initially took her son to live in Mexico. She moved to the Los Angeles area in 1995.

The man told the Edmonton Sun that a conversation with his son "is a long time overdue."

Yes very true, I guess the good thing is it was actually his real mother that abducted him when he was 3 years old.

But, finding out like this must have been a shocker... poor kid.

Both good and bad, he has to face the fact that his REAL mother took him away from his REAL dad... and kept him away for 14 years.

I guess the one that has suffered the most during those 14 years has been the dad, wonder if he ever stopped searching?

Knowing that his mother did that, to him and to his dad... talk about a situation where it's gonna be hard to choose sides.

Truly fucked up.

invertiga 02-18-2004 07:42 AM

maybe to make it up to him we should start taking donations for his new boob job

unitedpimps jrock 02-18-2004 07:42 AM

We only know part of the story, guys.
Perhaps the dad was abusive but had a shark lawyer and this was her only way of saving her son.
If that was the case, I'd do it - in a heartbeat.
You can't tell from this story, which is slim on facts.

Chris 02-18-2004 08:27 AM

Thats pretty twisted.

I agree with you Carrie, the facts are very slim we don't know the real deal between the father and the mother.
