whats the Best DVD Ripping program?
 

I want a program where I can pop in a DVD, rip it and convert it into a .mpg or .avi so I can edit it.... thats it, simple...

I have tried DVD Wizard Pro (takes like 8 steps to do and is time consuming)

I tried 1st DVD Ripper, and it seems to only do segments of a chapter.

And its kicking my else, what do ya recommend?

I installed it, ran through the steps, clicked Start and I get this:

Good luck. I do not think there is a program that makes it that simple.

easy. FlaskMPEG...

pop in your dvd, flask it. done. you now have 1 giant .avi you can do whatever the fuck you want with.

I get some sort of error when I run it too. I just ignore it and everything works fine for me.

Hum.é. Flask doesn't rip the DVD. it just decompress the VBO files to an AVI file.

I use :

Clad DVD 2.0 to RIP the DVD
Flask Mpeg to decompress it the VBOs
AVI info to resynchronise the sound
Virtual Dub to split it in 700Mb files
Ahead Nero to burn it on CD

That's it, it is not that long, it take about 3 hiours to decompress the VBO, so I start it when I close the shop at night. The next morning I have a nice AVI file.

Real work about 15 minutes

CLAD DVD : 5 minmutes (it takes about 20 inutes)
FLASK : 2 minutes (takes about 3 hours)
AVI to resync : about 2 minutes per file
Virtual Dub : 2 minutes (takes about 5 minutes)
Nero : 2 minutes, takes about 10 minutes)
