Who has been to the Phoenix Forum before?
How does it compare to other conferences?
I've never been to the Phoenix Forum but it seems more low key and mellow than other exibitions, more of an opportunity to meet people and network. Do you think this is true? |
Much more fun and informal. Great place ot meet people and just hang out.
Went the last two years and had a very rewarding trip both times. |
it was :thumbsup last year.

I have stalked Shok at all the Phoenix Forums. I look forward to stalking him again this year. When I'm not stalking Shok I find there is plenty of people to talk to and lots of business to be had. The afterhours fun is quite special also :thumbsup

Awesome, show...great people, well organized, great weather...what else do you want?

Dawn and I went last year - it was a great networking opportunity in a fabulous location. Highly recommended
:thumbsup |
I've been to all of them, including the first one that wasn't even called the Forum.
It's grown from a small, 30-40 people meeting over a day with some dinner and drinks, into more than 600 attendees last year over a 3-4 day period. There are no booths, there is no registration fee if you register early, and the people there are about serious business. Nowhere besides an Internext will you find the caliber of people all in one place, and there's too much going on at Internext to have half the chance to sit down and get to know people that you want to do business with like you can in Phoenix. There's tons of free food and drink, the seminars can sometimes be quite informative, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still business-oriented. It's also quite nice to be able to sit by the pool and do business, something that only Curacao offers besides the Forum, since Miami Internext is just as busy as the Vegas one and people are stuck in their booths all day. Even managing to break my foot and spend six months after in a cast last year, I still think it was one of the most productive conferences I went to over the course of the year. |
It's one of my favorite events. Great weather and the CCBizzle folk are loads of fun and very very accomodating. Plus it's my birthday on the 3rd, ya'll should get me something nice.
