On VH1 they interviewed that band and they said they got in trouble for writing that song. It's a rule now that no songs or movies can contain a real phone number. That's why everything is like 555-5555 or something lame like that.

Is that the only famous phone number? I can't think of any others. Read some article asking if selling phone numbers would get like domain names. But I've really never seen a phone # I liked so much I'd pay money for it.

besides having that number as a novelty would else could you do with it? the only thing that i could think of doing with that number(seeing as it probably gets a lot of random calls from people who remember the song, oldies) would be to have some type of an oldies cd that you could order from that #.
