How do I shut the iBill gushing c-un-ts up?

I keep getting continuous spams for some site called "gushing c-u-n-ts"

I called iBill by phone and went through 4 of their customer service representatives who treated me as if I was an idiot.

I didn't identify myself as an adult webmaster, my complaint was made solely as a complaintant of the continous multiple daily spams from one of their clients (20 this week alone) at an address I would never have opted in for adult materials at. Nobody I complained to was even interested in taking the number of the iBill affiliate I was complaining about.

It wouldn't be such a big deal if they weren't faking every send to bust mail filters.

If this is allowed would someone from iBill please contact me with the rates for an obnoxious send campaign like this?

Just curious on why iBill would care of someone else is spamming. iBill just takes care of billing, not the website.

ibill's not the place to bitch, you may have more luck with the host, domain registrar, etc.

Is the remove link not working? If not, assuming it's gushinghahahahas.com, that's a guerillatraffic.com site, have you tried contacting them? I'm sure they can remove you from whatever list you're on, it's probably not the end of the world.

Their "remove" link:

I doubt that since they are violating the can spam provision by faking a new name/reply address with each mail their remove link (which pops up a toolbar install) is going to do more than confirm my address for them to spam their other sites or to sell as part of a list.

No, it's not the end of the world but it's aggressive assholes like this that are getting regulations handed down to the rest of us.

How many sales do you think they really make the 14th time they've changed something to defeat someone's spam filter? Not to mention, I KNOW where they collected the address and it was not from an adult source. Thanks for the guerillatraffic.com tip:)

I can't even do a whois on it. The URL is a mile long of gibberish.

In regards to ibill, they do have a policy that their customers can't spam. I remember this from 3+ years ago when we first signed up, our rep was advising on how to do this (we never spammed though). While it's against their policy, sounds like they don't enforce it.

Don't bother with the out-out link, it'd probably bring you more spam, not less.

An article I wrote here tells you how to track down the offending site -

http://ynotnews.ynotmasters.com/issu...402/page5.html

but note that the only link you need to look at is the one they want you to click on. The email "from" info is bogus for sure, and the opt-out is questionable at best.
