Bell 407 Helicopter
Someone posted they were looking for a helicopter to buy. A friend of mine's biz partner has a nice '99 Bell 407 for sale.

They have 15 helicopters so maybe they get that insurance on a volume price. He did say it could run way more depending on what the useage is and the pilots who will be flying it.

The FAA N-number for that helicopter has an interesting past. In 1968 a 28 year old pilot flying a Cessna 150 with the tail number of N8265F stalled the aircraft doing a unwarranted low pass and basically totalled the aircraft. After that, A Piper PA-28 had that N-number and its listed as destroyed. Call me superstitious, but the first thing I would do if I bought this bird would get an untarnished N number. There is some weird karma floating around that registration. :( Otherwise, its a really nice helicopter, and to answer Spotter's question, a CD player isn't all that hard to install. :) |
