What would you do tomorrow, if the online porn business was shut down tonight?
 

I know most of us here make their living in the online adult business.

How many of you have a plan for income if for some crazy reason online porn gets shut down tomorrow. I?ve been looking and found a great way to make internet porn type money without being in the porn business.

I wonder with posts like the MasterCard calls porn illegal (http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=237298 )and Justice Dept. moves to crack down on pornography ( http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=236612 ), how many here have a back up plan ready to put into action tomorrow if it ever was necessary.

for the last three years i have been buying low income shacks rehabbing and turning into apts/boarding rooms. i have a hells angel money collector when things get bad and all is good!

Whether it's porn or the system, everyday there is a potential for something to take away or lower your income. I'm wondering if anyone has a back up or emergency plan and what they are.

Am I the only person who worries that this business could change at any time?

I've been in this biz since 1996 and I used to make $30,000 a week. I don't do that anymore, some changes in this biz and problems with Visa took away by income. I had a backup plan then, that i switched to. I still make $$ and live comfortably but now i have another backup plan.

If you don't have one your're being stupid.. You can't plan on sitting here on GFY talking shit all day just to keep your post count high so you can make your living selling you sig if something went wrong with your current business plan.

I'm hoping the business will change. Then only the smart people will make money and we won't have to deal with all the idiots.:thumbsup

Porn is not going away ever....Everyone likes Sex otherwise the human race have died out ages ago.

The delivery methods will change that is a fact as they always have from Frech postcards, to print, to full size film, to VCR, to DVD to internet and beyond.

I bet my mainstream businesses would go through the fucking room since I wouldnt' be posting here and building adn submitting sites all fucking night long. I would actually SLEEP.

Realisticaly, i don't know this for sure. But i'm not taking into account the players. I'm wondering about the little guys who would get hurt if this business got taken away tomorrow. The players here are the minority. That's why they are the players.

The players are the smart ones with the bank account and multiple business ventures.

Too much money is made form it to shut it down.

I'd either fully retire and start drawing Social Security to augment my military retired pay; or, I'd go "whole hog" full-time into working in front of the camera as talent for other companies (if any are still filming); or, I'd do mortgage loans (I'm presently licensed to do so in California); or, possibly, I'd re-activate my Series 3 license and do options and futures brokering.

The nice thing is that no matter what the government does in the future (my stuff is tame --check out the pop-up free Guest's area of my site and you'll see what I mean), my groupie girls will still be around for my sexual playtimes:-)))!!!
