It has been exactly one week

Since my dog passed away.

Things are a little better , just trying to keep busy.

Jesus christ do I know how that feels.

How long did you have him / her?

How old was he/she?

Have any pics?

I had mine for 10 years, he was like a brother to me. I did'nt get over it for almost 2 years. Still hurts time and again.

Strange thing was, I had a strange urge to take about 3 rolls of film of him 2 weeks before he died. When I developed them, almost all of them had kind of a ghostly trail to his face.

It was really, really weird.

Still have yet to get him tattooed on my chest.

My last dog died 2 years ago and I still think of her every day.

Julius my dobie was 11 years old.
I do have some pics of him but, not recent ones.

My dobie was like a son to me. My boys grew up with him. When we got him in California 11 years ago. My sons were only 2 and 3 years old so they have never known life without him.

Yeah, that's sorta how it was for me - first dog and everything.

They're in some pain now I'll bet.

yep they sure are. My older son was downstairs in the basement hanging out watching TV last night and he told me he heard Julius brush up against the couch like he normally does to hang with the boys while they are watching TV. That kinda freaked my son out. I think it was his way of saying I am still here with ya.

Yes, our vet gave us three options.

1. We could bury our doggy ourselves

2. We could have mass cremation

3. Single cremation (and we get the ashes back)
