Went to see this movie yesterday with very few expectations and thought it was one of the most compelling movies I have seen in years.

Raw and emotionally honest with amazing performances from Naomi Watts, Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro.

I walked out of the cinema in a daze.

Highly recommended!

What he said :) I saw it, too, and was quite blown away by it. The beginning is very confusing until the pieces start coming together. It's well worth the wait, though.

Nope.... not really, although there is some drug use.

Then what's with the 21 grams?

Just see the movie... it's not a drug reference.

something about when you die you automatically lose 21 grams or something. i want to see this movie but the place around the corner just stopped showing it, gotta find another place to go check it out

haven't seen the movie, but they (those pestering voices in my left ear) say that's the weight of ones soul.

I saw it I think like 1 or 2 days ago, I wasn't honestly that impressed. I thought it was done very nicely, had great cinematography, good story telling, but I think Sean Penn's performance in Mystic River was much better than his in this film. It was a moving movie, but not the most moving I've watched.
