I honestly don't know if I like this flick...it's kinda campy in sort of the Toxic Avenger sort of way...but of course Toxic Avenger is wayyy fucking over the top.

Classic wierdness anyhow. Good movie. Been a long time since I've watched it.

The way the law reads in Texas is if the repo man comes to take your car it's the equivalent of stealing and you can shoot to kill...been done a few times and the guys got off

eh, I did that shit in NJ, when I was like 19-20 yrs old

mainly, they sent me to the houses to collect checks, or cruise around and find where they were hiding the cars.

I'd go to the house, nobody would answer. Then I'd call from a payphone, and say "my courier just came by to drop off a package for so-and-so, but nobody answered. Can he come by later?"

not for me - I never had a hard time, everybody was always mellow with me. I didn't do it all that long though. I'm sure somebody would have swung a bat at me sooner or later.

A friend of mine who did magic shows for children's parties got a repo man job on the side after seeing that movie. He once repossessed a car while dressed as a giant bunny. He got paid partly by the vehicle and it was unpredictable when a call might come in with a car for him to grab.

"Yes, officer, the Easter bunny stole my Chevy!"
