fucking cool! sprint has a new service plan!

yes, that's right! phone doesn't work on weekends! woohoo!
this is the second consecutive weekend that my phone DOESN'T FUCKING WORK! i've got full signal, but it won't connect. did this last weekend too, and on monday it automagically worked. now again this weekend same thing, didn't work yesterday either. fucking retarded. same thing happens every once in a while, but it shouldn't be scheduled. i'd call them and bitch but ... OH WAIT, I CAN'T! |

i would like to go to verizon. verizon apparently owns all the cell towers in this area, but they're all leased out to the local telco, which i abandoned months ago due to their incorrigably awful customer service (and they have an exceptionally long history of). so, i can't get verizon in this area. |

hey... now it works, i found the trick. leave it on my desk for several minutes to connect, then it restarts itself and it works!
what a piece of crap. |

I remember they used to charge $3.00 to actually SPEAK to someone about your phone.
I used to make retarded noises during the automated system to bypass the $3 charge. Sprint sucks balls. |

what phone? maybe you need a firmware update?
	 |

heh, i remember that fee as well, guess that didn't go over too well with their customer base, it didn't last very long :)
it's a samsung a500. might need updates, i called them and waited a few minutes on hold, but they said estimated wait of 15-20 minutes, which i'm not willing to wait around for. i'll just go to the sprint store next time i'm in the area. the local telco and cricket are out of the question, and i really like the features and stuff sprint offers. i've been thinking about going with nextel, but i dunno. anyone have any experience with nextel? :) |

might be a bad phone, if you bitch long enough at the sprint store they might hook you up
	 |

You're still in Lincoln, right? Nextel coverage in Lincoln sucks ass. I switched from Sprint to AT&T a few months ago. Coverage area isn't as far outside Lincoln, but it works just fine in town. Fuck Alltel and all their bullshit. AT&T's data speed is way faster than Sprint. I know that's not the case everywhere, but it's the case in Lincoln.

lol... just tell the truth... you've been "party'n" a little too hard lately... and like 3-4 day chunks just disapear.... lol |

BTW ben... u get those pics changed on the tat site?
	 |

 Still better than Telstra.

kinda sounds like my new wireless internet provider. It's been down every 5 minutes for 10 minute intervals, for the past 5 days. It's real damn annoying.

Fuck Sprint, and the shitty switches they bought to save money for more advertising, to overwelm the network with their piss-poor service.
	Fuck em! :321GFY |

cabanaboy... don't recognize your nick, hit me up on the q sometime. this jake, perhaps? good to know about nextel tho... argh. maybe at&t would provide some relief, but there is no chance in hell i'd be using alltel as a provider. |

NECoeds knows who I am (but probably doesn't realize it). He's too busy to reply to my emails. (just kidding Jim. I know you got a lot of shit going on. No biggie. But you ought to hit me up sometime, and not on the phone).

HAHa sounds like my shitty Sprit service plan... When I 1st signed up with them, they had excellent service phone was crystel clear.. but it just keeps going down hill...
I'm probally going to change soon, just sucks because I had to buy a new phone not long ago being I lost my old one. |

had sprint and it was horrible for me. fucking roaming sitting in my driveway, 2 blocks from the store...they said "that happens some times...." lol...fuck that!
switched to Verizon and love it! just switched my plan over to the unlimited mobile to mobile. that works out very well for me! |

same shit is happening to my phone.. i have to restart it first to make it connect..
i was thinking the software on the phone was buggy or something |

Those having trouble with your phones take them in to your local sprint store. If the phone is even 6 months+ years old it may (and probably does) need a software (firmware) upgrade.
I had a problem with calls dropping all the time. Took it in and found out I was 2 years out of date with the firmware. They upgrade it for free and it only takes a few hours. Drop the thing off go get some food, run errands whatever and pick it up. That will solve most of your problems. If something else is wrong with the phone they will tell you because they can test all that shit. |
