What is PageRank?
PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think that if you link with another page that has a lower PR, it will *slightly* lower your overall PR.
So, if you're linking with 10,000 sites with a PR of 1 or 0, and 20,000 sites with a PR of 3 or 4 - it may bring it down.
