I think the problem is that none of the mods or Lensman has time to play detective and go looking up and comparing IP addresses....... too bad, because I hazard a guess that a whole block of aliases would disappear pretty quick if someone ever took the time to nail the right IP's.

Ever heard of a proxy ?

Then why do so many banned losers show up 3 minutes later with a new nick? If you're banned by your IP, is it really so easy to get around that?
