Public Information Act - I need help
 

Does anybody know what or what not the government can disclose?

For example, lets say one of you potties was caught and convicted for smoking the natural stuff, they came with a search warrant to your home and took everything in sight. Computers, Personal Info, Data of the people who live with you, your diary, etc etc,, you get my point.

what do I as the public can see if I choose to go to the Courthouse, after you get convicted of smoking the funny?

Your name and address, that's a given!
Your personal computer disc (with you and your girlfriend doing the nasty, just because they took it at the raid)??
Your Personal Email, photographs, videos of your kids? The websites you visit??

If anybody has an answer or can point me to a link online, I would appreciate it

if your coputer gets seized in any type of 'raid' my advice owuld be to call a lawyer immediately LOL

as for what can and cant be disclosed.. basically anything that is nothing to do with the basics of the case are inadmissable in court therefore they should never see the light of day however, if you have 'illegal' materials on your machine then they can use that as evidence and will most likely use it on fresh charges.

once law officers execute a search + seizure warrant any evidence they feel is required to press charges may be used for either the original charges of why the warrant was executed or, can be used as evidence in any further charges even if the evidence was found by luck in relation to a previously existing charge basically, call a lawyer and get 100% sound legal advice :2 cents:
