What are the most important factors in selecting an affiliate program?

i like to go with the smaller sponosrs that aint overdone. if they provide content to promote them with than thats a plus.

WEBMASTER SUPPORT!!! And I don't mean via e-mail 3 weeks after an inquiry. I'm talking about toll-free telephone support where someone actually answers the phone or at least responds to a message left on voice mail within a reasonable time frame!

That's just sad if support won't contact you back when you're trying to make them money !

The type of content depends on where you are sending traffic from.

a program who dont have 50 popups and dont even pay you on them.

A good partnership program that retain members for 4-5month makes big payout :)
